Jay Kim, Web Design Intern
Jay is DWD's web design intern with training in full stack web development. He has a degree in applied cognitive psychology and program evaluation from Claremont Graduate University in California and have been working with different nonprofit organizations behind the scenes so they can focus on creating positive change in the community.
"My experience with divorce has taught me the importance of taking care of myself. I think it can look different for everyone but for me it meant asking for help when I needed it, taking plenty of time to sit with my emotions, and staying consistent with things that made me happy. Dealing with divorce really reminded how strong and resilient people can be in the face of extraordinarily difficult situations."
